I am passionate about theatre. I have a natural flair for administration, strong organizational and communication skills, combined with a great understanding of the performance world. I am an enthusiastic team-player as well as confident working independently. CURRENT EMPLOYMENT

The Public Theater from July 2017 to present day.

Development Associate, Institutional Partnerships

·     In charge of administration of the Institutional Partnerships team in the Development Department at The Public Theater.

·     In charge of organizing and managing a calendar of reports, applications, and proposal deadlines for our team’s portfolio (worth approximately 10 million annually).

·     In charge of individual communications with all the representatives of the foundations in our portfolio as well as Corporate Partners, Supporters and government contacts, inviting them to see our work and to special events.

·     Collaborating with the Corporate Relationships Manager and assisting him in the administration of his department.

·     Administrating our database in Tessitura to make sure we have all the right and up-to-date information for our contacts.

·     Entering gifts, pledges and payments into the system.

·     Managing the Concur account for the team supervisor’s credit card.

·     Issuing Invoices.

·     Providing administrative support to the Institutional Partnerships team members.

·     Scheduling intradepartmental meetings.

 

 

ADMINISTRATIVE

 

The Public Theater from May 2017 to July 2017.

Producing Office Assistant

·     Assisting all line producers in the day-to-day running of the Producing department, ensuring all the various programs and events happen efficiently and in a timely manner.

·     Inputting casting information into corresponding spreadsheets for Readings and Workshops and the Emerging Writers Group.

·     Managing the department’s intranet; specially the theatre’s Yellow/Green Light system.

·     Managing the department’s stationary and office supplies.

·     Stepping in as Maria Goyanes’ Assistant whenever required (managing her calendar and acting on any other requirements that arise).

 

VOLUNTEERING from January 2017 to present day.

Marketing Manager Volunteer for The League of Independent Theater.

·     Creating a marketing schedule to help support the League’s upcoming calendar of events around the 2017 local elections.

·     Creating Social Media awareness for a February 7th Activist Training event.

·     Live Tweeting and Facebook Live streaming sections of the February 7th event.

·     Creating a Marketing Campaign to help build awareness of 2017 local election candidates.

·     Building a Performing Arts Platform with a mission to support independent theater makers in New York by improving living and working conditions.

 

VOLUNTEERING from April 2017 to present day.

Managing Consultant for Articulate Theater Company.

·     Creating a marketing schedule to help support the League’s upcoming calendar of events around the 2017 local elections.

 

 

OUT OF JOINT from May 2015 to August 2016.

Education Manager

As a member of a small administrative team in a highly prolific theatre company I am regularly required to carry out duties beyond those in my job description. My responsibilities have included:

· Managing Out of Joint’s diverse educational programmes and the budgets as one of the company’s key fundraising portals.

· Conducting and writing workshops that complement Out of Joint’s creative programme.

· Organizing all workshops done by Out of Joint associates at schools, theatres and universities. This includes training associates to deliver the workshop to Out of Joint’s quality standard.

· Writing all of Out of Joint’s Education Packs, which includes performing extensive research and analysis of the play in order to share Max’s rehearsal process, taking and using photographs of the rehearsals and working with the cast and creative team to deliver a comprehensive pack that illustrates the process of creating the production.

· Running and managing Out of Joint’s Performing Arts Academy

 

FREELANCE from June 2016 to July 2016.

Social Media Manager for Look Left, Look Right Theatre Company, touring production The Crunch Part 2.

·     Posting production related content material across Facebook and Twitter, and scheduling its release over the month the production was touring.

·     Researching relevant articles and other digital material that was being posted.

·     Building interest in the production through creating discussion around the topic of the play.

 

FREELANCE from May 2013 to June 2013.

Production Manager for Juana in a Million, London run at Southwark Playhouse.

·     Stepping in at the last minute to ensure the play ran smoothly and that production was taken care of.

·     Managing the running budget of the play.

·     Drawing up contracts for the cast and creative team.

·     Arranging for promotional material and programmes to be printed and delivered.

·     Assisting writer, performer and producer Vicky Araico Casas in liaising with all the different consultants hired during the show and ensuring the timely delivery of their product/service on time.

·     Responsible for the preparations of a mini-symposium with Queen Mary University, workshops and post show talks.

·     Making payments to cast, creative team and third party service providers.

·     Liaising with Southwark Playhouse’s marketing team to promote the play and ticket sales.

·     Collecting charity donations after each performance on behalf of the Latin American Women’s Right Service (LAWRS).

 

 

THEATRE AND EDUCATION

 

LONDON SCHOOL of DRAMATIC ART from March 2015 till June 2016

Part-time Teacher

·     Teaching part time acting students during their Naturalism module.

·     Directing the students in two extracts from Chekhov plays (The Seagull and Ivanov) for their end of module assessment.

·     Directing part-time students in a shortened version of God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza for their end of module assessment.

·     Providing the students with the support and skills needed in their training to become professional actors.

·     Teaching Acting for Camera for the Advanced Diploma students and guiding their preparation to shoot a monologue for their show reels.
