AIGLON COLLEGE, SWITZERLAND           from September 2009 to January 2011

Director in Residence and GCSE Drama Teacher

I spent a year and a half at Aiglon College, Switzerland.  During my time there, I taught Drama GCSE  (13-16 year-olds), assisted in A-Level Drama classes and organised extra curricular activities for the students interested in Theatre. This included serving as guidance counselor to students seeking to apply  to drama school and audition preparation sessions. During my time at the school, we held our own version of the 24 Hour Plays which I produced. Here is the video from the day:

I co-directed the Senior School production of Woyzeck by Georg Büchner. I also wrote and directed the Junior School production, The Graduation. The play was custom written for the group of students participating, inspired by the Michael Rosen collection of poetry, Quick Let's Get Out of Here

Here is a small sample from The Graduation:

The time I spent at Aiglon College made me aware of my interest in education, which then led me to pursue a career both in theatre and in education.
